The line captured within the pictures is used as a vehicle to progress the viewers eye to the top of the image. Various lines used within the images helps to produce different effects. The main line with in the picture is the pattern of bricks that start from the front left corner and end near the back right corner. They lead the audience through the work, while the straight line produced by the chair on the right accompanies and helps direct the view to the left side. Each line adds to the whole of the work and is an effective element in portraying its truth.
